This talk will be an general talk about filesystems in Linux. It will start with primitive filesystems, such as MS-DOS "FAT" filesystems, and cover classical Unix filesystems, and then move on to more advanced,
modern filesystems which are available today on Linux and other operating systems. Topics such as journaling, robustness, and performance issues will all be
covered.

Theodore Tso
Theodore Ts'o was the first kernel developer on this side of the Atlantic. He is the maintainer of ext2/3 filesystem utilities, and did much of the original work on the tty and serial drivers. Theodore founded and organized the annual Linux Kernel Summit, which brings together the top kernel developers together in Ottawa every year. Theodore currently serves on the board of the Free Standards Group.
