This lecture will cover the process of developing graphical applications in the Python programming language. Best practices such as presentation & content separation, graphical unit testing, documentation and the benefits of using GUI designers will be discussed. Valuable tools and utilities developed during the development of a medium to large business application will be demonstrated.

Lives in São Carlos, SP, Brazil where he works for Async Open Source. Maintainer of python bindings for GTK+, the graphical toolkit used by GNOME. Contributor to many python projects: gnome-python, pyorbit, nautilus-python, gst-python, zodb.
