The open-source Java Finite-State Machine Project (JFSM) provides a new methodology for generating software from UML State Charts. Participants will learn how to use JFSM theory and practice.

John Roland Prieur

Mr. Prieur holds an M.S. degree in Software Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT; 2003) and a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY (2001). He has industry certifications from Sun Microsystems and IBM. For over 10 years, he has been a software engineer with a focus on leading-edge technology and software tool-building. He has authored several publications related to software architecture. He has recently started the java.net project for Java Finite State Machines (JFSM).
